Let me introduce myself.

My name is Kim Dodson; I was born Kimberly Elaine Hale in San Diego, California, and now live in the Midwestern state of Ohio. Growing up on the West Coast, I never could understand why they call this the Mid-West, it makes little sense geographically. I spent many years living in a lost and desperate condition, but the Savior walked by one day; rather, I began to listen to him, and he rescued me. Since then, I’ve had a burning love for his Word.

Proverbs 3:5-6

I learned a simple passage many years ago, and I’ve proven it true since I applied it to my life.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

It remains just as real today, though someone wrote it thousands of years ago.

That’s just it; God is always the same! We can know him in the same way that all the Bible heroes we’ve heard and read about did. This is comforting to me. We can rely on his promises.
